I would love links to some of your favourite corset pattern sites. I've seen some corsets I love, but the price tag is way beyond reach since I would need a custom one to accommodate my ample curves. I'm skilled with sewing and game to build my own if I can find a pattern I like.

Re: Patterns?
08/11And Laughing Moon has a video also. When i started Dickens years ago i saw a Dark Garden corset that i loved. But I could not afford it so I looked around for a good pattern. I found Laughing Moon. I have made about 5 over the bust corests using thier pattern. After I had adapted thier pattern to a underbust corset they came out with a underbust pattern, which I bought. I've made three using the underbust pattern. The one i made years ago for Dickens I still wear for fair. I use the gore pattern, not period but it mimics cup size very well for a nice fit -

Re: Patterns?
08/11Laughing Moon patterns are wonderful and easy to scale but you still want to do a muslin first and you DEFINITELY want some help fitting it. JoAnn offers workshops from time to time which are superb. There's a link on her website. Also keep an eye on Laci's and GBACG which occasionally sponsor classes.
