So...
I sew for a "hobby/spending cash" job here at home. It helps me to feel less guilty about spending money on my little crap and not taking out of household funds... (I'm am a stay at home mom).

My back HURTS. I have tried pads, cushions, different chairs... OUCH... I've got muscle relaxers it gets so bad.

How many use your corsets for back support?
and would a standard victorian corset do this? do I need a full corset or just an underbust?

I outgrew the first corset I made... *sigh* and am loaded with orders, so I cant get to the next one I want to make just quite yet.

But.. I'm interested!

yes, eye agree... corsets are so medicinal in so many ways...
eye once cracked my ribs falling down some icy steps...
and eye wore one (never took it off for like 3 weeks)
and eye healed in half the time and amazed the doctors!
(of course, the dozens of chocolate mint cookies helped, too)

I do wear my corset for back pain. I would wear it much more if it wasn't such a problem to get in to. I do not have a helper readily available to me.
I also love the way they make me look.
