Don’t shop at www.meschantes.com/ - I bought a corset and even though it didn’t fit, that’s fine. BUT, I also bought a corset liner from this seller. After I won, she e-mailed me saying I should get one. She never sent my liner. Cause she forgot it when sending corset, and didn’t want to pay another shipping fee. She never e-mailed me back after I asked why I never recieved it. I even e-mailed her my receipt for it. She never e-mailed me with an explanation. This was on Ebay, she left me a really psycho negative feedback too. The corset was WAY too short. And it didn’t close right in the back, was made totally wrong for me. I got an unwearable corest and ripped off yey!

Obviously most of the people that are happy with their corsets from Meschantes are not daily wearers or tight lacer's! Their corsets don't hold up and their warranty is non existent! You may be a person who just falls back and shrugs things off and we will not fault you for your personality, but we are not that type of person. We demand good quality material for our dollars! When a company advertises a product and lies about it's perceived value - they should endure the wrath of their customers!
You comment of a TANGIBLE COMPLAINT - as if you did not get ripped off for over $400. 00. Well we did and Merchantes is to blame! Why are you sticking up for them anyway? You should be happy that people like ourselves take the time to warn other of inferior products! If more people would take the time to notify others of bad items and poor designs, we as Americans would work to weed out these money hungry a-holes who prey on the trust of others!

Wed, January 30, 2008 - 8:30 PMI bought my first corset from them. I still wear it and it works great. Granted, I didn't buy it from e-bay although I have bid on them. My advice is to get a made-to-order corset; then you are sure you have one that won't be stressed in the wrong places. -

We sent it back to them twice for repair and they came up with excuses why the bones poked through the leather! They had the corset for over six months combined and we paid all the shipping! They offered to give us $100.00 dollars of toward a new corset, which was a slap in the face to us. The worst corset we have ever purchased! Not for long time or daily wear! Buy leather from another reputable company!
We had another corset maker remove the cheap boning and repair the corset! The corset was supposed to be one of their strongest for tight lacing! HA! We hope they go out of business!

because, frankly, it's walking distance and if I ever have an issue-I can go tell them all about it in person. Having said that- I have never had an issue and everyone I have ever heard of having an issue (oops,I lost a bunch of weight and have to get it refitted or vice versa) has never had any trouble resolving that issue because of the careful and meaningful consultation that they do. anyway-good luck!

The cosrset was very nicely done - The only comment I had was that the grommets were not evenly spaced so I didn't go back
