Have you purchased a corset from divadivine777? On Ebay
I was looking at her store and was wondering what the quality was like? The prices are very reasonable if she is truly selling what she says she is.

I was considering buying one but wanted to feel out opinions first.

Re: Have you purchased a corset from divadivine777?
Fri, April 17, 2009 - 10:30 AMJust from a quick look it appears that she doesn't actually make the corsets, but rather sells other corset maker's creations. -

Re: Have you purchased a corset from divadivine777?
Fri, April 17, 2009 - 10:50 PMno when you take a good look she makes them. She offers a custom option and can alter and do add on on any of them, plus she discusses how she makes them on several descriptions. Granted I spent 3 hours pouring over every piece and description LOL -

Re: Have you purchased a corset from divadivine777?
Sun, April 19, 2009 - 6:37 AMDivaDivine777, real name Christine Woods, is just reselling corsets made by Punk69 (www.punk69.biz/) which are located in India.
The corsets are only made to a specific waist size and do not have a customized bust or hip size so hopefully it fits as these corsets are considered "off the rack" styles. I believe all customizations are carried out by Punk69 hence the reason for delays in custom orders. I bought one for my wife off her and it is really nice but a fully custom corset would have been better. Still, I can't complain about the overall quality given the price I paid. Grommets are well set and all bones are steel.
Definately much better than a lingerie "corset" from China if you are wanting more body shaping. :)

Re: Have you purchased a corset from divadivine777?
Sat, June 6, 2009 - 11:13 PMthanks that probably explains why she seemed so annoyed when I asked what lining backer material was used and the weather it was spiral steel boning and how wide. She is telling me that they will customize to my bust... I have a pretty large natural difference... 40 inch bust 25 inch waist.

Re: Have you purchased a corset from divadivine777?
Sun, July 19, 2009 - 3:48 AMOK , this is divadivine777 here. First of all I run a very reputable business selling all over. Secondly, my main business comes from ebay. I sell a few other designers corsets, including my own. Yes I also make corsetry and have done nowfor over 20 years. A large portion of my corsets are made from a designer in India and that is the company Graeme is talking about. They are a manufacturer for a very large proportion of the worlds famous corset companies. They do over 45,000 corsets a month, so I will leave it up to your imagination to work out who they sew for. But I can tell you all that you would be very surprised at the very famous names of very expensive corsetry companies that they sew for. This company also makes up a companys own designs so that they are very different to what is on their own website. have never pretended to sew those corsets myself. I state very clearly in my ebay bio that I sell other designers brands as well as my own including a lot of one offs. All bridal corsetry is my own, as well as many other corsets including the moulin rouge corset. People should be very careful what they say in the written word .I am a very hard working and honest woman. I am also very picky about what other corset designers I represent. I choose companies that have a good quality item for a reasonable price. The more high end corsets are the ones I do myself. Also just to make one more statement. I have never, nor will I ever be rude to my customers. I dont know why you would say I was rude in my replies Gigi. I usually bend over backwards for my customers. I have been asked many times what boning or backing a certain corset uses and I will always state truthfully. As I said I am very careful about whos corsets I sell, so am very well aware of how each are made, including the type of boning used and the type of backing. As I said I have been a corsetier myself for over 20 years. Also very few people these days who sell a lot of corsetry, actually make their designs theirselves. There are still some who do and because of how long this takes, it is obvious that they only sell very small amounts. Once a corsetier is selling more than 10 corsets a week, they have to get them manufactured. This is this is the way of business. And this is the way business expands. There is room enough in this world for cheaper alternatives as well as the more expensive corsetry companies. Not everyone has $500 to spend on a corset ,and not everyone who wants to buy a corset is a corset affictionardo. -

Re: Have you purchased a corset from divadivine777?
Wed, August 12, 2009 - 2:42 AMDivaDivine777 has always been helpful in any queries I have had and she does indeed go out of her way to assist people. I know this from personal experience ... Christine was kind enough to assist when I had the incorrect size corsets.
The corsets from Punk69 are quite good and are much better than cheaper lingerie style corsets that seem to currently be flooding the market. I am so happy with the corsets we have that I am in the process of ordering more.
Yes, I could get a bespoke corset but to be honest, the corsets don't get worn enough to justify that. Also the fact that the last bespoke corset I was looking at getting made by a local corsetier was going to cost almost $1000, yet I could buy a corset off DivaDivine777 that does the exact same job and provide a reasonable fit for around $170.
Thumbs up to Christine for standing by her products and customers. :)

Mon, September 14, 2009 - 6:42 PMI never said you were rude I said you seemed annoyed... If ebay did not delete old conversations I would have posted our exchange. many of my questions were never answered at all and the tone of your answers seemed as if I was asking to much. -

Re: Have you purchased a corset from divadivine777?
Fri, August 28, 2009 - 11:57 PMI can see this is an old thread but just feel I have something to add here.
Firstly divadivine, dont say you never lead people to believe that you make the punk69 corsets yourself. You have punk 69 corsets listed on etsy where you are only ment to list handmade, also dont say you made the "moulin rouge' corset because that is the punk69 half bust corset with lace and you have simply added the beads.
You have not been making corsets for 20 years, you do not make corsets at all. that is a fact and if you would like to have a public debate about it right here, thats fine.
